Management Team

John Viggiano is the President of Dignitary Protection and Investigative Services, Inc. He began his career as a special agent with the United States Secret Service, serving through three Presidential administrations. His duties included assignments in the U.S. and abroad.

Mr. Viggiano also served as Vice President of Global Security at Schering-Plough Corporation (now part of Merck & Co., Inc.), where he directed a staff of 30 and an annual budget in excess $12 million. He spearheaded investigations, including those relating to product integrity. He provided for the safety and security of 55,000 Schering-Plough employees on five continents. He established and maintained liaison with federal authorities at various agencies including the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) Office of Criminal Investigations (OCI).

Today, Mr. Viggiano is a well-known authority in the highly specialized area of personal security procedures. He continually applies his training and experience in the public and private sectors, working with multi-national corporations, government agencies, the diplomatic community, public figures, and global organizations. His innovative, yet practical approach is widely recognized.

Regina G. DiStefano, Esq. is Vice President and General Counsel for DPIS. She is responsible for DPIS’ legal and public affairs functions. She is a member of the New Jersey and Pennsylvania State Bars.

Marirose Krall is our Research Consultant. Her expertise lies in gathering and evaluating the latest intelligence information from around the globe. She uses an extensive network of resources to review and report on geographic and demographic trends in criminal and terrorist activity.

The DPIS field roster is composed of highly skilled and experienced practitioners. Our personnel and associates have served in various capacities in federal and municipal law enforcement, and in private industry. Many have served as special agents with the United States Secret Service.
